Seed Stage

Before committing money to a new venture, we are available to vet and validate the technology being used or created. We have a unique ability to communicate with the IT side and the Business side.

Whether it is new technology being used to create a new business or market, or a startup that claims to be the next eBay or Amazon, we are available to dig into the technology and provide reasonable assurances of the underlying viability, scalability and deployability of proposed solutions. Bottom line, “Does it work”, and “Will it do what they say it will?”

Angel Stage

From market assumptions to financial forecasts, from staffing to execution, the business plan must be achievable. We are again in a unique position to evaluate if the business plan is accurate, achievable, and sustainable.

Is the product robust, does it have acceptable levels of fault tolerance, is the architecture extensible to meet growing demand? Have performance and security been baked in from the beginning and will the framework continue to meet the needs of the growing popularity? The bottom line, “Is it ready to go to market?”

Early Stage

As an Angel stage company transitions to Early stage and revenue becomes a reality, is there effective oversight from the founders and early investors to maintain technological superiority. From this point forward, if the venture succeeds, there will be copycats at every milestone, hoping to capitalize on the new wave.

Are enough resources being expended to ensure technology remains leading edge? Are the results those resources are providing sufficient to the task. The bottom line; “Is the product evolving at the correct pace?”

No one can predict the future. Nevertheless, there is a junction point for business sense and emerging technology that results in overall better returns. We are available for fixed bid projects to vet and report findings at any of these stages. Alternatively, we can provide regular oversight and reporting as an investor’s representative on the board.
